While you’re enjoying summer vacation with your family, we hope that you will find time to participate in the BDS Summer Reading Program. Children who complete the program by reading at least 18 books will receive a summer reading reward.
Please click here for a suggested list of books. The books on the list are available for checkout at the BDS library. Feel free to read books that are not on the list that you find at your local library, in your own home collection, or at the BDS library.
A family member or a “book buddy” may read to the student.
Click here for the form to record the title of books that you read. This form is due back to your teacher on Tuesday, September 4th.
The BDS library will be open this summer on Wednesdays from 10:00-1:00 starting on June 20th and ending on August 15th. Please note that the library will not be open on July 4th.
