I have played soccer since I was three years old, starting my career in Fair Haven, New Jersey. I played soccer in New Jersey in all capacities, indoor, travel, club and school teams until I went to Elon College in 1989 and played. After college I coached for Burlington Parks and Recs leagues working with girls ages 12-14 until I had my own children. Once my own children were old enough to play I then took up coaching again for little ones, and still currently play on an indoor women’s league for fun.
I feel that I bring skill, passion and sportsmanship to the game of soccer. My goal is to show the girls how to become strong, confident young ladies on and off the field. I want to give them tools and techniques to improve their game of soccer but also teach them etiquette to become a great woman. I will teach them how to win respectfully and lose graciously.
I have an open door policy that embraces the notion that everyone makes mistakes, but how we learn from them is what matters. I will play a key role in developing the individual as well as the team. I will encourage all the girls to be the best person they can be. We will strive to be one of the best teams in the area, both with skills and sportsmanship, and strive to build great girls as well as a great team.
